A double dose of music and pop culture from the far east hits the west coast big time this month, as doujin videogame publisher Rockin' Android and J-pop/J-rock promoter Tune in Tokyo team up for "SUGURI Videogame Release Party" (Thursday, July 16, 9pm-2am) at 2nd Street Jazz in Los Angeles.

Celebrating the launch of SUGURI Perfect Edition, the event will feature the latest J-pop and J-rock music stylings mixed by DJ Greg Hignight, DJ Tora, and DJ's Del, Ally and Yuki. Patrons and clubgoers will be able to play various Japanese indie games for free at the game kiosks set up by Rockin' Android, as well as enter a drawing to win a copy of SUGURI Perfect Edition.
